About Coach Ward
Aran Ward is an accomplished hockey coach with extensive experience at the youth and collegiate levels. A former captain at Framingham State College, Aran has developed a deep understanding of the game through years of competitive play and coaching. With USA Hockey Level 5 certification, he has a proven track record of guiding players to reach their full potential on and off the ice.
Aran’s coaching career spans several renowned organizations, including Islanders Hockey Club, Mountain Kings Academy, and Seacoast Performance Academy. He has worked with elite-level players at the U14 and U15 levels and continues to serve as a scout for the Madison Capitols of the USHL.
Aran is the driving force behind Playmaker Hockey, a development program aimed at refining players’ skills through targeted training sessions. His philosophy emphasizes skating efficiency, hockey IQ, and individual player development in a fun and competitive environment.
For more than a decade, Aran has committed himself to nurturing the next generation of hockey talent by helping players sharpen their skills, build confidence, and elevate their game.
